Anita is preparing for her role as Clare in Heartland Pricinct: Missing Girls, directed by Cody Carson.  The film is going to be shot in and around Little Rock, Arkansas in the Spring of 2011.   

 Anita has already had a busy 2010.  She has booked multiple jobs, including commercials and Videos for various companies such as LandMark Direct, YMCA, Hy-Vee, Gideon International, Washburn University and has worked is the Video Web Rep for Lilestyle Productions. She just recently finished shotting two feature length films.  One called  Pitching Hope directed by Tony Mendoza, and the other called Freedom of Silence directed by Richard Robertson. Stay tuned for these exciting films.  On top of her current projects, she has the destinct honor of being selected by Mankind Pictures for an upcoming documentary on the life of an actress in Kansas City.  This documentary is looking for a targeted completion in 2010.
 
Anita is working on finishing her year strong by putting yet another aspect of her film experience into motion.  He dreams of actually producing films herself are in the making.  Stay tuned for more to come.

About Anita
Anita Cordell is an actress currently based in Kansas City and has been performing nearly all of her life on stage.  Her love for live theatrical performances increasingly grew as an adult and led to over a dozen shows including Tribulations Christmas  (Lisa - Featured Soloist), Patmos Remembrance (Mary), The Alabaster Jar (Esther), Another Year Already Here (Janey), Regrets (Carol) and more.

In 2008, Anita was proudly added to the cast of The Two-Time Emmy® award winning Steve & Kathy Show where she has played multiple roles, including a Trailer Park Pastor's Wife, Anna Alabama, and the infamous hillibilly named Betty.  This show is a Faith-based Variety show and in January of 2010 became syndicated, airing on nearly 200 channels across America. She was also invited with the show, in 2009 and 2010,  to participate on a panel of judges for the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) Regional Emmy® Awards.  

Also, in 2009, Anita received the distinct honor to have been selected as the featured actress for the month of August for HOSFU. Read about it here.

Anita has also made appearances in multiple film projects including Barely, Works in Progress, Bonnie & Clyde versus Dracula, Angel of Music, The Apology Dance, The Hunter, and Last Ounce of Courage.

Along with her film projects, Anita has been in Industrial films, training videos, commercials and has worked on print campaigns, both on a local level, as well as a national level. Stay tuned for this up and coming actress.
